In this journal I would like to introduce one touching movie named “Marley & Me” which is adapted from the bestselling true story about “the world’s worst dog”. Marley, a Labrador retriever, is the main character in the movie. In addition to the energetic dog, the cast in this movie is very strong. The leading actor is Owen Wilson who is famous for the movie “You, Me and Dupree” and the leading actress is Jennifer Aniston who became popular overnight because of the TV series “Friends”. (Actually Jennifer Aniston is the main reason that attracted me to see this movie. To me, she is not only beautiful but also a model of modern woman. : D )
The movie begins on John (Owen Wilson) and Jenny (Jennifer Aniston) Grogans’ wedding night. It was a terribly cold and snowy night in Michigan, and the newlyweds decided to move from chilling Michigan to sunny Florida and start their new lives there. The couple got jobs as journalist at competing newspaper company. They buy a new house and planned to start their lives as a “family”. However, John confesses to his friend who is named Sebastin that he is not ready to be a father yet.
Sebastin suggests the couple start with a dog. The Grogans follow Sebastian’s advice. They become the owner of cute Marley, who quickly grows from 12-pound to 98-pound. Marley flunks out of the training school, chews up the sofa, knocks over garbage cans, eats pillows and slippers and even drinks toilet water. Though he causes a lot of troubles to the Grogans, Marley keeps the couple accompany with each other through all the ups and downs of life. They finally realize that “the world’s worst dog” is the best one to them.

Because of my allergy to dog fur, I never keep a dog as a pet. At the beginning, I thought that the movie was far from me and I would not have special feelings about since I never keep a dog and I am scared of big dogs. However, this movie moved me a lot due to the touching reverse in the end and how the Grogans live in harmony with the naughty dog, Marley.

It seems to me that watching movies is essential to a college student's life these days because quite a few of you wrote on films. Yes, it can be a way enriching your experiences. April is crazy for professors as you can see us at the margin of being "too hyper". Things will return to its normal path.
