[journal] Camp of Blue Sky

Last weekend, April 18 and 19, is the important days to all the members to Blue Sky. We had a camp, which the subject is happiness in this time. I am one of the members who deal with food this time(生活股). Although the dates of camp are in the time when we have mid-term exams, everyone of Blue Sky still tries (s)he best to makes the camp more wonderful and brings not only happiness but also touching to those junior high students who attend to our camp. Those junior high students are coming from poor families, and single-parent families. Compared to us, most of them have little recourse to get what they want and learn what they like. Maybe we can’t change their life. However, what we can bring to them is the happy memory of these two days. One of features of Blue Sky is that we try to make those junior high students to find out what kind of people they are through some games to establish their confidences in themselves.
I remember that there is a special girl in our team. She has obstacles to express what she wants and the way to deal with people. At first, she was really quite in our team. However, she becomes more energetic after a while. During the tow days, she tries to do something which may annoy people in order to catch our attention to her. Sometimes, she refuses to join the game. Sometimes, she said that how boring the game we designed. Although she might be a trouble-maker in our team, she is the one who express her emotion directly. However, in the end of the camp, she cried a lot and said that she did not want to go.
The reason why I live Blue Sky so much is that Blue Sky always brings not only happiness but also touching to us. I learn a lot from this club. In the end of the camp, the principle of the junior high school said that giving is always better than receiving. He also said that may be we cannot really understand what it means but we will in someday. I think that I understand a little. I found that the smiles of people we help are always so charming and make me full of energy to do things.

The act of showing your love and care to those teenagers who come from the poor or bad conditions in their families was really meaningful. I believe that we do need more love in our society.
As for your writing, you need to remain consistent in the verb tense.

This article touched me very much. I agree that helping poeple and bringing happiness to them make ourselves feel great too. Seeing you guys join "Blue Sky Club" and always being busy in it let me feel you are indeed devoted your time and spirit to this club. It's a good thing and I believe you guys have learned a lot from it! :)
