LEGO was originated from a company which made wood toys. In 1932, after the first Financial Meltdown, the founder Ole Kirk Christiansen decided to save his bussiness. As the result, he turned the wood toys into wood building blocks and the begining model had came out. After World War Ⅱ, the technique of shaping plastic had progressed and Ole Kirk Christiansen's son reformed these wood brick
s to platic bricks. Plastic can be more colorful and endure fire that made LEGO become popular in the world.
Playing LEGO can inspire people's creativities and imagination. There are a lot of exhibitions which held frequently to show the magnificent works of LEGO, and there's no ending of creativities of new bricks works. You can build anything and also make awsome works by yourself.

Dear Amy, I believe you are talking about "LEGO" instead of "LECO," right?
I am a LEGO fan as well, but I like the basic building blocks better which you can create whatever you want. Now LEGOs in Taiwan often come with a theme like Harry Potter or other movie characters, which leave players less creativity.
Anyway, I like your paragraph about how LEGO started; it tells clearly of how such a great company was formed.
I think this entery is very interesting. I not only learn some information about LECO but also have interest in playing it. Besides, those pictures are so attractive.
Now I'm confused...@@
Aren't you talking about 樂高?
I was also interested in LEGO in my childhood! Readind your journal reminds me of those good old days!!!Now, I am still attracted by LEGO, but little do I play in person, I just watch and acclaim some magificent worksˊˋ Your description and pictures are detailed, I really like this journal!
LEGO do exist in everyone's childhood. We all have the common experience paying it. However, I don't know whether it can inspire people's originality because I don't remember that I have ever make anything special with piling those plastic bricks in my childhood. Surprisingly, the attractive pictures in your entry catched my eyes. I think that it would need lots of passionate and patience to build them.
Wow, many people like this entry. It reminds me that once I watched a Japnese TV show. People used LEGO to make some modles like subway station. The most interesting modle is Leaning Tower of Pisa which is made by pizza.
